Events - Month View
The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.
Click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar to see search and filter options.
Elm Creek Park Reserve, - Acorn Picnic Area (Same site we had when catheter by Famous Dave's)
Please join us on Sunday June 1st at 11:00am at Elm Creek Park Reserve, - Acorn Picnic Area for a day of fun. This event is always popular; most will say it is the most fun Tripoli MN event, besides launching of course! This is a family-friendly event. Everyone is welcome, member or not. Feel free to bring family, friends, neighbors, etc., especially if they may be interested in our hobby. This is a perfect opportunity to see what we are all about.
Rocket Show-N-Tell is certainly welcome. If you’d like to show off your build bring it with you.
We will have a big silent auction at this event, details to come.
Sign-Up is required this year since we are arranging a potluck for lunch. You can still attend if you don’t want to eat. Please see the upcoming email but we would like everyone who will be bring food to identify what category of dish is falls into (e.g., appetizer, salad, side dish, main course, dessert,…).
We’d also like to get some kind of group photo at the picnic before lunch, so feel free to bring a rocket to pose with.
Rules (from the venue):
No alcohol is allowed
No rockets may be flown at the event

This has to be canceled due to the heavy rain, the farm roads and fields are a swamp.
We are trying to have a launch on 6/28. There is a lot of rain in the forecast for the days before Saturday, if the farm roads and the field are too wet the launch can not happen.
