We will work on the launch equipment to clean and prepare it for the new season. Please bring tools and cleaning materials such as: wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, wire brushes, steel wool, scrubbing pads, WD40, rags, paper towels, gloves, etc.

This is a special launch event for the University of Minnesota Rocket team. About 40 students will attempt their L1 or L2 certifications. This is not open for general attendance, but up to 5 members can attend the launch their rocket, registration is required. - the waiver might be limited - there will be no rocket motor sales and no food sales - the porta potty will be available - you need to come prepared with the rocket mostly ready to go. There is not much support available that day -

Please join us on Sunday June 1st at 11:00am at Elm Creek Park Reserve, - Acorn Picnic Area for a day of fun. This event is always popular; most will say it is the most fun Tripoli MN event, besides launching of course! This is a family-friendly event. Everyone is welcome, member or not. Feel free to bring family, friends, neighbors, etc., especially if they may be interested in our hobby. This is a perfect opportunity to see what we are all about. Rocket Show-N-Tell is certainly welcome. If you’d like to show off your build bring it with you. We will have a big silent auction at this event, details to come. Sign-Up is required this year since we are arranging a potluck for lunch. You can still attend if you don’t want to eat. Please see the upcoming email but we would like everyone who will be bring food to identify what category of dish is falls into (e.g., appetizer, salad, side dish, main course, dessert,…). We’d also like to get some kind of group photo at the picnic before lunch, so feel free to bring a rocket to pose with.
